What to expect on the day of a Sculptra treatment

On the day of your procedure, while you are being prepped, we will walk you through the treatment as discussed in your consultation so you know what to expect. We will first clean the areas of the skin where the treatment will be administered and a numbing agent or a topical anesthetic will be applied so that you won’t feel any pain or discomfort.

Either Dr. Ort or another member of our aesthetics team will inject the areas of the skin with a small needle. You may feel some pressure but you shouldn’t feel pain.
